We cover indie and hip-hop, regional scenes across the country, Bollywood, and the K-pop that Indian listeners have made their own. We write about rising talent alongside the names already making noise, because both are part of the same story.

Features — longer pieces on how a record came together and what the artist was trying to do. Reported conversations, not press releases.

How we work

We report, we don’t repackage. Where we cover an announcement, we say where it came from. Where we interview an artist, the words are theirs.

We’re independent. We don’t accept payment for coverage, and we don’t let labels, managers or PR agencies approve our writing before publication. Any piece produced in partnership with a brand is clearly labelled.

We correct our mistakes. If we get something wrong, tell us — we’ll fix it and say what changed. Corrections are noted on the article.
