Navaan Sandhu has released Bipolar, a 13-track album that dropped at midnight on June 12 and amassed over 2.5 million combined streams across YouTube Music and Spotify overnight. The singer-songwriter describes it as his most introspective project yet. The album explores emotional contrasts - confidence and doubt, love and heartbreak, ambition and vulnerability - with Sandhu turning personal experience into stories he calls “universally relatable.”
The album features collaborations with Dhanda Nyoliwala and Sanya Dandona on “Katha Lagda,” Shai on “Yaara Ve Yaara.” Param on “Bodyguard,” and Mickey Singh on “Star Girl,” alongside additional standout tracks including “Moodshift,” “City Dreams,” and “Naveezy Era.” The lineup positions Bipolar as one of Sandhu’s most collaborative statements to date, spanning romantic melodies, motivational anthems, and high-energy Punjabi rhythms across its tracklist.
Production on the album was helmed by LA-based sound engineers Damien Lewis and Joe La Porte, marking a departure from Sandhu’s earlier work - one that blends experimental production with his established romantic and traditional sensibilities. “Katha Lagda” has emerged as an early standout, dominating listener engagement since release.
Known for blending Punjabi music with hip-hop, R&B, pop and global contemporary sounds, Sandhu has built his reputation through projects including Naveezy, The Finest, and House Navior, along with breakout singles like “In Demand.” Bipolar continues that trajectory while pushing further into emotionally layered songwriting. Sandhu has also teased two additional projects currently in development, signaling an ambitious pipeline ahead.
