HYBE is bringing its flagship music festival, Weverse Con Festival, to India, the company announced Wednesday (October 7). The two-day festival will take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027, marking its first edition outside Korea since it launched in 2023. The announcement came the same day HYBE India hosted a secret fan party at Khar Social in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The India edition will feature K-pop artists alongside musicians from India's music scene. The lineup is expected to be announced in October and further details, including ticketing, will be shared through HYBE India's Instagram account and Weverse.

Modeled on the fan experiences built through Weverse, HYBE's fan community platform, the festival will combine live performances with interactive fan programs, brand activations, and cultural experiences. It will also include special collaboration stages pairing K-pop and Indian artists.

In Korea, Weverse Con Festival has grown from 20 acts in its first year to 30 this year, bringing together artists across generations and genres. The annual Korean edition will continue separately from the India festival.

HYBE India, led by CEO Damien Woochang Lee, told Variety India earlier this year that the company wants "to meet the magnitude of India's potential." Under Lee, the office has been holding auditions for its first Indian girl group, which he said would address the lack of "a consistent pathway to the global stage" for young Indian talent. Shortly before the festival announcement, Lee shared an Instagram post titled "India, Here We Go" featuring Rhea Raj, SEVENTEEN's S.Coups, and Hanumankind, hinting at a possible collaboration.

For Indian fans, the festival brings one of K-pop's major festival brands to the country for the first time, with both K-pop and Indian acts on the same bill. Additional details have not yet been announced.

Tickets will be available exclusively on BookMyShow, with ticket prices and sale dates yet to be announced.. Mastercard cardholders will get access to presale tickets.
