Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married on Friday, July 3, in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with the couple's team confirming the news to a crowd of roughly 1,100 guests. The wedding comes nearly a year after the couple announced their engagement through a joint Instagram post, following months of public speculation about the date and location. Permits closing Manhattan streets over the July Fourth weekend served as an early clue, and guests were reportedly required to sign non-disclosure agreements ahead of the event.

The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, a longtime friend of the couple. Austin Swift, Taylor's brother, served as her "man of honor," while Jason Kelce, Travis's brother and former NFL teammate, stood as best man.

Swift and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes. Swift completed the look with Cartier jewelry. Guests took home embroidered "T&T" handkerchiefs as favors, stitched with the couple’s initials, the wedding date, and New York City.

The guest list reflected the couple's overlapping worlds in music, film, and sports, with attendees including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Ed Sheeran, Dakota Johnson, and Gwen Stefani, among others.

Music played a central role in the reception as well. Paul McCartney performed "I Want to Hold Your Hand," an appearance that stood out even among a guest list already packed with major names.

The ceremony's details, the officiant, the wedding party, the designer looks, and the surprise performance, reflect an event that mixed the personal with the scale befitting two of the most visible figures in music and sports, closing one of the most closely watched storylines in recent pop culture.
