Kunwarr has released “Crazy4U,” a high-energy Punjabi pop track about the kind of love that takes over your thoughts before you even notice. The Indian-Canadian singer-songwriter blends Punjabi melodies with contemporary pop production on the track, capturing the excitement and joyful chaos of falling for someone.
The track leans into the small details of new love - smiling at old memories, replaying conversations, and counting down the days to see someone again. “Almost everyone has experienced that phase where one person quietly takes over your thoughts without even trying,” Kunwarr said. “I wanted to capture the excitement of falling for someone, while making a song that listeners could move to.”
Originally from Punjab, and now based in Toronto, Kunwarr has steadily built a distinct identity by blending Punjabi melodies with influences from hip-hop and R&B. That fusion has become a defining thread across his catalog, positioning him as one of the more genre-fluid voices in Punjabi pop reaching audiences beyond South Asia.
The release follows his previous single, “Piche Tere,” which became a breakout moment for the artist, entering both the India and Global Spotify Viral Charts. “I’m incredibly grateful for the love ‘Piche Tere’ has received,” Kunwarr added, “and I hope listeners find a piece of their own story in this song.”
