DGTL India has moved its Mumbai edition to Goa and confirmed that German DJ-producer Stephan Bodzin will no longer perform at the 2026 festival, according to statements posted on the festival’s Instagram on Wednesday (October 14).
The festival will now take place in Goa on November 14 and 15. DGTL cited “ongoing licensing uncertainties affecting live events across Mumbai and Maharashtra” as the reason for the move, calling it a “difficult decision.” It said more information will follow shortly, including next steps for ticket holders.
In a separate lineup update, DGTL said it had reviewed the information available “in light of recent events” and decided that Bodzin “will no longer perform.” The festival said the decision “reflects the values we stand for” and the responsibility it feels toward its community. The statement did not name the events in question.
Bodzin’s booking drew criticism in August, when New Delhi electronic artist BLOT! (Gaurav Malaker) alleged that Bodzin’s manager threatened him at Spacetech Halloween 2025 in Gurugram. At the time, DGTL said it was reviewing the information. Rolling Stone India reported that Bodzin’s team had been approached for comment, and no response from his team has been published.
On tickets, DGTL said all DGTL Mumbai 2026 tickets will remain valid for DGTL Goa 2026. Holders who keep their tickets will receive a complimentary +1, added to their existing ticket and QR code after the refund window closes. Those who can’t attend can get a full refund until 11:59 p.m. on Friday (October 16), 48 hours after the announcement. Questions can go through the “Help & Support” section of the Skillbox profile tab.
DGTL said its team is working “around the clock” on arrangements and thanked artists, partners, and fans for their patience. A Goa venue and any lineup changes beyond Bodzin’s exit have not yet been announced.
